After a bit of time, I managed to squash (or at least alleviate) the bugs below:

- Opening scene of game automatically closing game application (random tree props triggering exit game trigger hitbox)

- Scrolling on inventory sometimes not responding when scrolling to left (calculation adjustments when value is negative)

- Items instantly returning to inventory when dropped by player
